About
The Desktop Application development competition aims to encourage talent in the field of software development. It will focus on Desktop Application Development. Participants will get an opportunity to attend a ‘Guidance Workshop’ wherein the FOSSEE team of IIT Bombay will guide them on the skills required for participating in the competition. The workshop will be a great learning opportunity for all software development enthusiasts looking forward to a career in the IT industry. It will also help the participants to prepare them for the competition.
After the mentioned workshop, participants will be given a problem statement on which they would be judged. Winners of the competition will get the opportunity to join FOSSEE, IIT Bombay, as interns.

Eligibility
Students pursuing any engineering/ non-engineering course or graduates/ freshers, who are enthusiastic about software development may apply. While having a background in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology or related fields is preferable, we also consider students from other streams with strong programming skills.
